Mommy had to go to these things called Meetings for her job, so Dad and I were prepared to go both crazy AND nuts while Mommy was away. Well, I got so excited that I fell asleep by 9:00 a.m. on our first day.
That's okay! I woke up in time for some major fun Play Time on our Condo Floor. I love this new mode of transportation that I discovered called Rolling Around. Dad says that I'm ThisClose to crawling, but as soon as I'm about to crawl, I decide to do the Rolling Around. You know, that's how I roll. Mommy and Daddy are also getting quite impatient with this thing they call Teeth. Mr. Doctor told me that I was supposed to get this Teeth thing by Six Months. Welp, it's over Nine (9!) months now, and no Teeth to be seen. They're supposedly right below the surface, and Mommy can feel them, but the Teeth must be really shy and bashful, unlike yours truly. I also have a new thing that I say! I like to say, "Uh oh!" And shake my head "no" a lot. Mom says it's because of Dad. I'm just emulating what Mommy does when Daddy's around.
Anyhoo, once Mommy got back from the stinky Meeting, we all went to a Park close by. Mommy thought I would like to swing in the Swings. Pshyeah, right, whatever. I'm waaaay too cool for swings. That's for like, Six Month Olds.

On Friday, after another one of Mommy's stinky Meetings, we finally got to visit my Auntie Beka and Uncie Wes! They are definitely two Kool Kats. They're rad, man. Speaking of Kool Kats, I got to meet their cat Charlie! Apparently, Charlie is not a Puggle, but I still thought he was super sweet anyway. Charlie came within two feet of me to sniff me. I thought that was pretty cool of him, so I smiled and clapped. I was impressed by his affability.
Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Beka, and I all went to the Zoo on Friday. It was a Boat Load of Fun! It's too bad that Uncie Wes couldn't come because he had to do this thing called Work. Bleh! I hope I never have to do that! Anyway, we got to see lots of Animals, Animals, Animals! From places near and far! We saw Lions, Tigers, and Bears, but not Oh My (they seem to have left that one out). I enjoyed all the Animals that I saw. Each one seemed to be a Star (Dad says that if you don't get the reference... then your sanity will be preserved... it's this toy that I have...). I also got to ride a Lion with Auntie Beka! I wasn't scared at all! Do you see how brave I was!
On Saturday I got to go in the Pool, but I didn't like it too much since it was so Cold. That's okay! I got to Chillax in the shade by the pool with Mommy, Daddy, and Uncie Wes. Auntie Beka had to go to a Baby Shower, which I thought was weird because I take baths myself. To each his own, I guess.
So I had a fantastic time in Chicagoland! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend in Peorialand! You will get to see how big I've gotten! Even random people stop my parents to tell them how big I am. That's okay! That means there's just more of me to love!
Peace out, Homeys!
