The Twinado is Coming! And Soon!

Welp, folks, it's happening.  Life as this Jacob family knows it will change drastically in just about... oh, um, a month?  Less than a month?  Holy smokes!  Goodness gracious sakes alive! Who would've thunk that 9 months would be so short?  Yeesh.  I really have no sense of time whatsoever.  I mean, waiting 10 seconds for a candy bar to be unwrapped is an ETERNITY (like, for real, e-tern-i-ty).  Sorry, I digress.

So yeah, the Epic Twinado is coming.  And soon (the title!). I believe this Twinado can kick that silly Sharknado's patooty. That's for sure.

Anyway, Mommy has this thing called a C-Section scheduled for July 7, which would be like 40,000 weeks past due, or something ridiculous like that, but they wouldn't schedule her any earlier for reasons that I will not even pretend to understand (something about holidays, weekend days, gestation periods, the lunar calendar, or something).  Hey, I am only 3.5 years old.  Give me a break!  Daddy said that if they don't get those babies out of there before July 7, Mommy may decide to get a spoon and get the Twinado herself.  Let's all hope and pray that it does not come to that.

So we're thinking it will happen in the latter part of June.  One of Mommy's co-workers thinks it will happen June 15.  Daddy didn't know what to think about that.  He said he needs to start getting mentally prepared for this Twinado.  Mommy just shook her head at Daddy.  Get with the program, Daddy!

So here are some more updates about the Twinado:
-  The girl currently outweighs the boy by two ounces, but both are around 4 pounds.  C'mon, Kid Brother!  Don't let that girl beat you!

-  They are overall very healthy!

- We are slowly but surely getting prepared.  Daddy finally turned my old bed back into a crib.  He spent about two weeks trying to find a part that he thought he lost (a special screw with a hex-head).  He spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to find the right part on Home Depot and Lowe's websites.  Finally, he got the part... but he didn't have the right tool to get it screwed in.  So he had to get a new hex key.  And you know what?  HE HAD THE ORIGINAL SCREWS THE ENTIRE TIME.  For some reason it made sense to have placed it there, but then that same sense did not return to him during the initial search (it was in the back of my dresser drawer).  Wow.  Go, Dad.

- Daddy's Camry is going to be pretty snug in the back, but we can fit 2 Baby Car Seats + 1 My Seat in it.  Like I said, SNUG.  This Twinado better be worth it.  But, hey, I discovered that sitting next to the Window is the Coolest.  Like, literally.

- Mommy is getting... more pregnant.  Daddy says that if I use the "B"-word (rhymes with "wig") about a lady then all sorts of bad and unspeakably bad things will happen to me.  Everyone (especially women) is walking up to Mommy and saying something to the effect of, "Wow, you must be due any day now!"  Mommy just has to tolerate those people.  It's not their fault.  They don't know.  It's all good. But still annoying.

- The Twinado's names are a secret!  Even to Mommy and Daddy! (They have an idea, but it's an idea, and, no, they are not going to tell you)

Anyway, I know it has been a long time since I wrote in my journal, and I do apologize.  I blame Daddy. He's always on the computer grading and reading and putting more music on his iPod.  Get a life, Daddy!

Here are some events since Christmas + Pictures:

Easter at Parky's Farm:

I got my face painted like a Bengal Tiger!  I am getting so big that I could be on the team next year!

I believe this might be the same snake from Parky's Farm from last year:

My Uncle Mike and Aunt Jo!  They are so nice!  They let me come to their house and sleep over with Grandma Nancy!  We get to go on walks, watch movies, play games.  It's a lot of fun!

Mother's Day with my Mommy and Grandma Nancy!  (Daddy is in the picture for some reason)

Goofing around with my cousin Ronny!

I am taking swimming lessons every Saturday!  I can't wait to go swimming with Papi and Mimi this summer!

Last weekend we went to Hueston Woods with Uncle Tophy and Aunt Alyssa.  We had a great time camping and swimming and making Smores.  Did you know that Smores are the greatest thing in the Entire Universe?  If not, you should know this.  Below is our Cabin.  Daddy called it Smurf Village 2.0.  Only a select group of people will get this joke, but you know who you are.

Uncle Tophy and Aunt Alyssa!

This may be one of the last picture of the Jacob Family pre-Twinado.  This is momentous:

Well, I hope all is well with everyone.  The next time I sit down to write a blog, the Twinado should be here.  Maybe the Twinado will write their own journal!  We shall see!
